Dwelling, Ruling and Reigning in the Overflow of His Love

Once in worship, I had a vision of Jesus sitting on the altar at my church. I was in a battle; commanding pain, unbelief, and fear away from me so I could enter in. I was praying in tongues. I knew my authority; I knew my bible and I proclaimed it. I knew I must have come into agreement with a lie the enemy had told me. I wanted breakthrough!

And here was Jesus sitting pleasantly in front of me, watching it all. He spoke to me so simply, that I was completely unraveled. He said: “Nancy, I don’t have any problems.” And it shocked me to the core. OMG I was thinking about it all wrong. . .  So I surrendered the whole thing over to Jesus, and it all lifted off of me in a split second. Wow!

In that encounter, Jesus was telling me the truth. There will never be any problems in heaven. Woohoo! So why didn’t I just live from there? Yes that was it! He was calling me to come away with Him. “Come up here!” And He carried me away in the Spirit into a dance of total freedom. And the enemy had to look on as the Lord poured oil all over me and filled me to overflowing. Now that’s our God!

Jesus is calling us up even higher in these days to a place above where we wage war from the lion’s den, from the mountains of the leopards. (Song of Solomon 4:8)  It’s a position of faith, victory, and success. A place where we no longer battle from the earth, but we make decrees from our seat of rest as citizens of heaven. He is calling us into His Presence and into a government of Love!

God says according to Ephesians 2:6 “we have been made to sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” We have already been given every spiritual blessing including a glorious seating above every principality and power of darkness that might war against us. (Ephesians 1:15-23)

We are literally the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. We are the daughters of light sent here to take dominion, be fruitful, and multiply. We rule and reign with our King. Hallelujah! We wear His armor, we have His name, and we move mountains with His faith as we follow Him.

“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17

Today I declare God is giving you the keys to decree from His Heavenly Courts, to dwell with Him in the lavishing overflow of His love, and to learn to live from your seat of rest as you rule and reign with Him in power at the center of the universe!
